Raja Ampat is located in Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua, Indonesia, has around 600 islands, but only 35 islands are inhabited, most of them are empty islands that don't even have a name. Of the 600 islands in Raja Ampat, there are four main islands, namely
Waigeo Island, Misool Island, Salawati Island and Batanta Island. Now these four islands will be the topic of our discussion this time.

Waigeo Island
Of the four main islands in Raja Ampat, Waigeo Island is the largest. Besides being known as Waigeo, this island is also known as Amberi or Waigiu. The island is located between Halmahera Island and Papua Island with a distance of about 65 km northwest of Papua Island. The surrounding large islands are Salawati Island, Batanta Island and Misool Island. The island's width is 3155 km², with the highest point of 1000 m. The distance between west to east is around 110 km, and north to south is around 50 km.

The beauty of the island of Salawati is indeed related to the diversity of its plants. Its still very quiet, calm and almost virgin condition makes many tourists hunt for this place. Not only that, Salawati is also the goal of researchers from various countries to study their natural wealth. Besides being able to enjoy the underwater beauty, here we can also witness the exoticism of the wor dance, World War II bunkers made in the Netherlands and Japan, and other tourist locations such as waterfalls.
Batanta island
Batanta Island is located in Samate District, Raja Ampat. has an area of around 453 square kilometers. The environment of this island is still very beautiful and natural. On this island, you can find a bird of paradise population that is an icon of Papua. The fine beach sand makes you feel at home on the beach. On this island there is one tourist location that is highly recommended to visit when visiting, namely the Batanta waterfall which is located quite far from the nearest village. To get to the location we have to do trekking in the interior of the forest approximately 1 kilometer long. Don't worry about fatigue ... because the beauty of nature here will help us all to forget about fatigue.
